Nervión is one of the most important and sought-after districts in Seville, located to the east of the historic center. This neighborhood perfectly combines the tranquility of its residential areas with the bustling activity generated by its numerous shops and businesses. Its atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it ideal for both families and young professionals seeking a high quality of life without being too far from the city center.

‍

Living in Nervión

‍

With a rich history, Nervión began to develop in the early 20th century as an expansion of Seville. Its name comes from the Nervión River, in tribute to the Basque region, where some of the businessmen involved in its urban development originated. Today, Nervión is a key area within the city, known for its excellent infrastructure and a diverse community that benefits from its wide range of services.

‍

Public transport in Nervión

‍

Nervión is well-connected to the rest of Seville thanks to an excellent public transportation network. The neighborhood has three metro stations: Nervión, Gran Plaza, and San Bernardo, all part of Seville's Metro Line 1. This line provides quick and efficient access to the historic center and other key areas of the city, making it easy for both residents and visitors to get around. Additionally, the neighborhood is well-served by urban buses and has convenient access to the San Bernardo train station, a major transportation hub.

Metro: Seville has only one metro line. This line connects different parts of the city and, although it is a single line, it is divided into three sections. Also there is a tram line that connects Plaza Nueva with the San Bernardo neighborhood.

Bus: it is another great option to get around the Andalusian city. Seville's urban bus service covers practically all areas of the city through its different lines. Bus tickets can be obtained at places such as kiosks and tobacconists, as well as at vending machines located at stops.

Cercanías train: to get around the areas farther from the city center, there is a Cercanías train service. These trains connect the outskirts with the city center and operate from 5am to 00:00.
