New year, new life, or so they say. Valencia is the perfect place to start a new experience. Valencia is famous for being one of the best cities for students, thanks to the moderate cost of living and university fees, long with its enviable weather conditions for being in front of the beach and easily accessible.  If you have found a master’s degree, you are going to be in Seneca or you are going to come to do an interesting course, in this post we show you the best neighborhoods for students to live in Valencia.

‍

1. Benimaclet, cheap and well connected

‍

If what you are looking for is a well connected and economical area at the same time, Benimaclet is your area. It is located near the University Campus (there is a direct line by tram), it is cheap, it has a lot of social life and it has everything you need if you are a student: bars, supermarkets, and many students to meet. Here you will find numerous accommodation options in shared flats at very affordable prices.

‍

Take a look at our recommendations and best options in this area.

‍

2. Algirós, right in the university campus

‍

If what you want is to enjoy the university environment in all its fullness, Algirós is the answer. In this area, you will find large parks and avenues to walk through and you will also gain quality of life by saving transportation to the university. Nearby are the Blasco Ibáñez and Taronjers campuses of the University of Valencia.

‍

In any of the five neighborhoods that make up this district (L’Illa Perduda, Ciutat Jardí, Amistat, La Bega Baixa, and La Carrasca) you will find young people and a great atmosphere.

‍

3. L’eixample, the heart of Valencia

‍

The Ensanche-Centro area is one of the most preferred by most students since it has almost everything. Art galleries, shops, pubs, bars, and clubs where you can enjoy moments of leisure. It is also one of the most charming areas, thanks to the variety of historical monuments. Its central location allows you to move comfortably around the city since all the Valencia bus and metro lines run through this district.

‍

Specifically, Ruzafa, one of the neighborhoods that make up this area, has become one of the coolest and preferred by students. You have numerous accommodation options around here, take a look at our favorites

‍

4. Ciutat Vella, old town

‍

If what you want is to know the old Valencia, your neighborhood is undoubtedly Ciutat Vella. This is the old quarter of the city of Valencia and therefore it is the most tourist in the city. This city is full of museums, theaters, horchaterias, and authentic Valencian sites. This is a neighborhood that does not rest, so if you decide to live in Ciutat Vella, going out through El Carmen and getting lost in its streets will become your day-to-day.

‍

Also, far from what you might think, in this area, you can find rooms like these in shared flats at a very good price.

‍

Without a doubt, Valencia has a lot to offer you as a student, and coming to live there is an option that Lodgerin highly recommends. Don’t think twice and make this the best time to go study abroad.
